![]() I really wanted to upgrade to LED because the brightness is much brighter with LED's and in my opinion safer from those behind you being able to see your turn signals that much better, but I've been driving with the OEM bulbs for 14 years so hopefully they will serve another 5 years at least. I still can't figure out why it worked fine after initially hooking them up and trying them and then the next day the hyper flash returned. It may be the bulbs used or something else, but who knows. When I had the led bulbs with the resisters removed on the rear lights the hyper flash was present (even though I had resisters installed on the front lights). Also, there was at least another reviewer that said you only need one resister per side and I tried that and it didn't work on my truck. I have the resisters still installed on the front turn signal lights with LED bulbs still in the front and hopefully those will continue to work because those were the bulbs I really wanted to change out based on the melting issue I mention below. Once I had the two incandescent/halogen bulbs back in the rear lights the hyper flash seems to have stopped. I checked the connections and everything seemed to be connected as it should so I began to remove the resisters and return the rear lights back to incandescent/halogen and then after I did that on the passenger side first that side stopped the hyper flash, but it remained on the drivers side so I removed that led bulb and resister too from the rear driver side as well. But if you are installing LED turn signals to enhance the brightness and visibility of your signals when you make a turn, the less colorful LED lights would be best.24 hour update after installation: I'm editing my review and dropping a star because after just 24 hours the hyper flash returned.
